The Pilates Method incorporates principles of anatomy and biomechanics by using the body's own weight. I also emphasize that nowadays, due to excessive work in the same position and little physical activity, many people end up becoming sedentary—that is, they are unable to perform simple everyday tasks that require increased physical effort. Therefore, it is extremely important to exercise regularly to effectively improve one’s quality of life. Such improvements include preventing injury; stretching; increasing flexibility, muscle strength, balance and coordination, and body awareness; relieving stress; activating the core and memory; and improving self-esteem, sleep quality, posture, and breath.
